Tom Denio

Tom Denio, Treasurer, is a retired corporate banker who worked for 25 years at Bank of Tokyo- Mitsubishi UFJ (now MUFG bank), where he was a Relationship Manager for U.S. clients in the Midwest. He received his Masters degree in Economics from Indiana University and studied in Tokyo, Japan as an undergrad.

Tom has served as Treasurer and Chair of the Board of Trustees at Second Unitarian Church of Chicago. Tom believes that Americans have a great deal of work to do to achieve racial justice and that "sympathy does not overcome ignorance." He and his wife live in Chicago.
